Draping for Stage
In my Role as the Cutter/Draper and Shop Supervisor at Trinity Rep, I strive to instill confidence and passion with an approach that aims to foster learning and exploration. Deadlines are hit, but most of the process IS the process, and refining the process is as important as achieving the goal.
I approach draping work outside Trinity much the same, though in those instances I am most often building the costumes as well. It is a mountain of work, but always rewarding.
